CM-R Services for School Addition at Riverview Elementary
Cleveland Construction, Inc. is the Construction Manager at-Risk for an 11,000 square-foot, two-story classroom addition at Riverview Elementary School in Painesville, Ohio.
Located on the west end of the existing school, the addition connects to the current Academic Wing and includes eight new classrooms, two small group gathering spaces, and a mechanical closet.
Contracted with Riverside Local Schools, the project expands the school’s instructional capacity to accommodate a growing student population.
The new addition will match the existing structure with load-bearing masonry walls with hollowcore precast planks for the second floor. The roof system includes steel joists and metal decking.
Exterior materials include a combination of brick and metal panels that complement the existing building. A TPO roof membrane provides weather protection and visual consistency with the current facility.
Construction planning is being coordinated with the district to minimize disruption to school operations and ensure timely delivery of the new classrooms.
